When the recorder and tuner are turned
on simultaneously, the recording time and
playback time do not appear on the display.
Using the recorder and drum machine
simultaneously
The Beat Boy lets you use the recorder and
drum machine simultaneously.
By turning on the drum machine before
recording, the drum machine will be
synchronized with the track during playback.
This allows you to check if the recorded
performance is at the specied tempo.
A recorded track that can be played back in
synchronization with the drum machine is
called a “tempo-synchronized track.”
When a tempo-synchronized track is selected,
the tempo-synchronized track icon ( ) will
appear on the display.
The drum sound will not be recorded. The
drum machine will be synchronized with
the track during playback.
Recording with the recorder and drum
machine synchronized
1. Press the RECORDER ON buon and
DRUM ON buon to turn on the recorder
and drum machine, respectively.
The “ ” , recording/playback
time, pattern number, tempo, tempo-
synchronized track icon, drum set and
track number will appear on the display.
2. Press the REC buon to enter record-
standby mode.
