The center indicator of the tuning guide
will blink in red.
The REC icon, tempo-synchronized track
icon and track number will blink on the
display.
The display of the drum set varies
according to the tempo and the TAP
TEMPO buon will blink in time with
this motion.
The time indication in the display will
alternate between the precount number
and the available recording time.
The precount can be specied with tempo-
synchronized recording () step 4).
The drums will sound from the speakers.
With the START/STOP buon, you can
select whether or not the drums will sound.
Regardless of whether or not the drums
sound, the drum machine is running.

Specify the drum machine tempo and
paern.
For more details on the seing procedures,
please refer to the Using the drum
machine” section on page 19.

Press the buon to select the precount.
The precount switches each time the buon
is pressed. The available precount seings
will differ depending on the selected
drum paern.

Press the PLAY/STOP button or the
REC buon.
Aer the precount, recording will start.
During the precount, the center indicator
of the tuning guide will light up in orange.
To cancel recording, press the buon.
Note: When the recorder and drum
machine are being used simultaneously,
recording will start when precount “–1”
(1 beat before) is displayed.
When the MIC is selected, the precount sound
from the speaker will not be output when
