Connecting external audio devices
Connecting external audio sources
Connect any other electronic musical instrument, a mixer’s output, or a CD/tape
player, to the INPUTS on the back of the instrument. These inputs expect a line-
level signal. To connect a microphone, you need a dedicated microphone preampli-
fier or a mixer.
Warning: Avoid connecting the output of a power amplifier to these inputs!
Connecting to an external amplification system
Use the OUTPUT connectors, if you like to connect your EC350 to a high-quality
mixer, stereo hi-fi, or a couple of active monitors. When using a stereo hi-fi, connect
the OUTPUTs to the AUX or TAPE inputs (never use the PHONO inputs). For
mono amplification, connect only the L/MONO output.
