4 Press the START/STOP button. The recorder data dump will begin, and the sound
setting data will be transmitted to the data filer.
Saving parameter data to the data filer. Here is how to save the memorized
parameter data of the EC350.
1 Use a MIDI cable to connect the EC350 MIDI OUT to the MIDI IN of the data filer.
2 Prepare the data filer to receive MIDI data.
3 On the EC350, hold down the TRANSPOSE/FUNCTION button, and press the
VIBES/GUITAR sound selection button. The LEDs of the TRANSPOSE/FUNC-
TION and VIBES/GUITAR buttons will blink, indicating that the EC350 is ready to
transmit the data dump.
4 Press the TOUCH button. The data dump will begin, and the sound setting data will
be transmitted to the data filer.
Loading data from the data filer. You can load into the EC350 data you previ-
ously saved on a data filer.
Note: During a data dump operation, the EC350 will not produce sound, and no
other function will work.
Note: You may cancel a data dump operation before the data dump begins, by press-
ing the TRANSPOSE/FUNCTION or VIBES/GUITAR button.

VIBES/GUITAR sound selection button. The LEDs of the TRANSPOSE/FUNC-
TION and VIBES/GUITAR buttons will blink, and the EC350 will wait to receive
the data dump.
3 Set the data filer to send the data that were previously saved from the EC350. Please
read the data filer owner’s manual for details on data transmission.
The EC350 will receive the data.
When the data dump is finished, the EC350 will return to the same status it was
before the data dump.
