MIDI port is shown. You won’t need to change this setting if the M50 and the M50 Editor are
connected correctly, since the M50 Editor will search for the M50 when it starts up, and will
specify the MIDI port automatically.
Send M50’s MIDI Out data to the host application (VST Plug-In Only)
If you turn this option on, the MIDI OUT data of the M50 itself will be sent to the host application
as the output of the plug-in instrument.
Short messages are the only type of MIDI messages that can be output. If you’re using a host
application that is able to receive the MIDI data sent by a plug-in instrument, the MIDI messages
generated by the M50’s arpeggiator function can be sent to the MIDI track of a different software
synthesizer.
