Introduction
IfthemicroSTATIONisconnectedtoyourcomputer
viaUSBorMIDI,performancedataandsettingscanbe
transferredbetweenthemicroSTATIONandyour
computer.
IfyouinstallthededicatedmicroSTATIONEditor/
PlugInEditorapplicationtoyourcomputer,youʹllbe
abletouseyourcomputertoeditthemicroSTATION’s
programsindetail,andus
ethemicroSTATIONfrom
withinyourhostapplicationasthoughitwereaplug
in.
Afteryouhavereadthe“A b o u t thesoftware”and
“Operatingrequirements”section,setupyoursystem
asdescribedinthisguideandinthe“microSTATION
Editor/PlugInEditorUserGuide.”
Connecting via USB cable
1. InstalltheKorgUSBMI
DIdriverfromthe
includedaccessorydisc.

2. IfyouwanttousethemicroSTATIONEditor/Plug
InEditorwithyourcomputer,you’llhavetoinstall
itfromtheincludedaccessorydisc.

Making connections via MIDI cables

MIDIcables.

MIDIINconnectorstotheMIDIinterface’sMIDI
INandMIDIOUTconnectorsrespectively.
