Checking disk change

Check that the LCD goes froi HI to LOW when the floppy disk drive
eject button is pressed and the
disk is
taken
out.
After you
have completed this check, press CENTER] and proceed to
the next test.
<MDE Test> External

Testing the MDE part of TGL
Press CENTER] and check
that
the output
waveform of the MDE Test
(Fig.
1)
is
normal. If the output waveform is abnormal, check the TGL
and neighboring
analog circuits.
After you have completed this check, press CENTER]
and proceed
to
the next test.
<Noise Test>

Set the MASTER
VR on the panel to
MAX.

Press [ENTER] and measure the noise level of the OUTPUT indicated
on the LCD. Check that the OUTPUT noise
level does
not
exceed
the
allowed
value. Measure the noise levels in
the
order shown below
and confirm if each level is -87.0CdBu] or less as on the table
1.
