a) Use only connections and lines approved for the expected pressure range.
b) Securely prevent the permissible pressures from being exceeded, e.g. by using pressure
relief valves or bursting discs.
c) Pipelines must be designed in such a way that no tension e.g. caused by changes in
length due to fluctuations in temperature can be transferred to the product.
