Normal operating conditions
• The soot load is in the permissible range.
• Symbol G/1 illuminates
permanently.
Increased soot load
• Automatic regeneration in operation.
• Machine operation can be continued.
• Diesel engine operated with increased speed.
• Symbol G/2 flashes.
Caution! The soot load is in the high range
• Automatic regeneration is no longer possible.
• Perform manual regeneration on the next occasion
– see “Manual regeneration” on page 7-84.
• Symbol G/2 flashes.
• Warning light 66
lights up.
• A short acoustic warning
sounds.
Caution! Critical soot load
• Diesel engine goes into protective functions and
performance is reduced by 30%.
• Perform manual regeneration immediately
– see “Manual regeneration” on page 7-84.
• Symbol G/3 flashes.
• Warning light 66
lights up.
• A continuous acoustic warning
sounds.
Caution! Soot load too high
• Diesel engine goes into protective functions and
performance is reduced by 30%.
• Diesel engine speed is limited to 1200 rpm.
• Manual regeneration is no longer possible.
• The diesel particulate filter has to be replaced by an
authorized service center
– see “Cleaning/replacing the diesel particulate filter
(option)” on page 7-86.
