•Inspecttheprismwindowandprismtoensureit
is completely clean and undamaged.
Before every measurement clean the prism with a soft
cloth and if necessary a glass cleaner.
•Duringthemeasurementkeeptheinstrumentin
horizontal position.
•Calibration(seepoint4)
  ∙Atleastonceadaybeforestartingmeasuring.
  ∙Aftermovingtheinstrumentbetweenplaces
with large ambient temperature difference.
  ∙Afterchangingbattery.
3. ON/OFF
PressON/OFFtoswitchonoroffDR301-95.
4. Calibration
•Putsomedropsofdistilledwater(approx.1ml)onto
the prism and close the lid.
•ThedistilledwaterandtheDR301-95shouldbeat
the same temperature of 18–20 °C.
•PressZERO for 3 seconds until CAL flashes on the
display. The calibration is completed when END is
displayed.
•Whenthissymbolisflashing,thecalibrationhasto
be restarted.
