8. Place the mechanical seal on the shaft. Guide it as far into the discharge cover as
possible. Verify that the markingsA are aligned with each other.

9. Position mounting device C on the front face of the mechanical seal. Fit the
mechanical seal. Verify the position of the mechanical seal with reference
dimension “K” = 43+/- 0.5mm; adjust the position if necessary.
