– Strike each spoke briefly using a screwdriver blade.

The frequency of the sound is a function of the spoke length and spoke diame-
ter.
If spokes of the same length and diameter vibrate with a different tone, this is
an indication that the spoke tensions differ.
You should hear a high note.
» If the spoke tension differs:

Correct the spoke tension. x
Removing the underride guard x
– Jack up the vehicle on the center stand. (

– Swing the side stand downward.
– Remove all four screws and take off underride guard .
