2. A boost charge is only for emergencies. It will partially
charge the battery at a high rate and in a short time.
When using a boost-charged battery, it is necessary to
recharge the battery as early as possible.
Failure to do this will shorten the battery's service life.
3. The battery is charged if the indicator display turns
green from black.
4. When exchanging an old battery for a new one, use
battery of equal specification shown in table 1.

1. When storing the machine for a long period, remove
the battery from the machine, adjust the electrolyte to
the proper level and store in a dry place out of direct
sunlight.
2. The battery self-discharges while it is stored.
Recharge it once every 3 months in hot seasons and
once every 6 months in cold seasons.

BChanging Engine Oil
To avoid personal injury:
A Be sure to stop the engine and remove the key
before changing the oil.
A Allow engine to cool down sufficiently; oil can
be hot and may cause burns.
1. Dismount the container from the machine. (See
"ATTACHING THE GRASS CATCHER" in GRASS
CATCHER MOUNTING)

Remove the spring connecting the duct and mower
deck. (See "MOUNTING THE MOWER DECK" in
MOWER MOUNTING)
3. Remove the duct
A Install the duct so that its right and left ends should
come outside of the regulating bolts.
