Mowing unit
The mowing unit can be mounted on the headstock in a
forward or backward position (L = 150 mm / 5.9’’).
- Adjust the mowing unit in forward position when the
distance A between the tractor front wheels and the
front part of the "A" frame coupler is below
450 mm (1’5’’).
- Connect the hydraulic hose to the single acting valve
with float position.
- Open the valve using 18 box spanner supplied with
the machine.
- Release pressure until the gauge needle reads
0 bar (0 psi).
The forward position enables:
• Avoiding interferences between swath shields and
tractor wheels.
From the backward position:
- Remove 12 bolts (1)
- Remove:
• Washers (2) .
• Spacers (3) .
- Position the headstock in line of additional holes
located 150 mm (5.9’’) forward of original holes.
- Check the condition of bolts, washers and spacers
(replace them if necessary).
- Reassemble the unit. Tightening torque:
21 daN m (155 lbf ft).
The backward position enables:
- Bringing the machine's centre of gravity closer to the
tractor.
Fully depressurize the hydro-pneumatic
accumulators before carrying out any
modification to set the machine in forward or
backward position.
Pressurize hydro-pneumatic accumulators
to a pressure of 75 bar (1087 psi).
Shut-off the hydraulic valve.
The mowing unit is factory fitted in backward
position.
