Instructions for work
- Fit new chain on sprockets (1) and (2).
- Place one chain end on sprocket (3).
Check chain tension between sprocket (2) and sprocket
(3):
- If the chain is not tensioned (a):
• Remove sprocket (3) and turn spline by spline (b)
until proper tension is obtained (c).
• Reinstall sprocket (3) with its washer and screw.
• Torque to: 8.5 daN m (63 lbf ft).
• Reinstall quick release link (4).
- If the chain is tensioned (c):
• Reinstall quick release link (4).
Tighten chain.
Reinstall chain guard:
Tightening torque: 12.5 daN m (92 lbf ft).
