Checking the blades and their mounting
hardware
Blades
Replace blades in the following cases:
- When the degree of wear L reaches 150 mm (6’’).
- When there is visible distortion.
Immediately replace worn or damaged parts with
genuine KUHN parts.
Using blades that are excessively worn can
cause premature damage to holders, rotors or
troughs.
Regularly check that there are no foreign
objects wrapped around the blade holder
(twine, wire, crop residues,...). Remove them.
