CAUTION
The filter collects dust and contamination from the laboratory and avoids the output of light from the bottom
of the unit.
Observe the following information:
The unit may only be operated with the filter being inserted.
Check the filter within regular intervals and clean it or exchange it if contaminated.
8.2 Errors and how to eliminate those
DISCONNECT FROM MAINS
Risk of fatal injury!
Unplug the unit before opening it.
ELECTRIC SHOCK
Danger of electric shock when unit is opened!

– Unit has not been con-

Connect unit with mains supply
– Defective fuse
Check fuse in the cold appliance plug and, if required,
exchange the fuse; if error occurs repeatedly, put unit
out of operation and inform service agent. See also
“Incorrect mains voltage”
– Defective power cord Replace power cord
– Incorrect mains voltage Use voltage selector to adjust correct input voltage
Initialization /

3 x 500 ms No chip card Insert chip card
3 x 500 ms Chip card not readable Chip card defect or chip card may have been
inserted incorrectly
3 x 500 ms Wrong chip card Insert correct chip card
Polymerisation
process is not
started or aborted
3 x 500 ms Limit switch was activated Close maintenance flap and / or drawer correctly.
If necessary, repeat polymerisation process
3 x 500 ms No flash lamp inserted or
flash lamp defect
Insert flash lamp and, if required, start polymeri-
sation process again; if error occurs repeatedly,
exchange flash lamp
Flash lamp

2 x 100 ms Flash lamp warning Light power of flash lamp decreases.
Flash lamp should be exchanged
3 x 200 ms Flash lamp error Insufficient light power of flash lamp.
All Polymerisation cycles up to 6s are disabled.

if required, exchange the fuse; then switch on the
unit. Lift magnet is initialized every time the unit

– Filter disc not inserted Insert filter disc
– Defective fan Put unit out of operation
