10.3 Changing the lamp reflector with a flash lamp
HOT SURFACE
When the device has been in operation only a short time, the flash lamp and lamp reflector get very hot and
can burn you if you touch them. See the warning symbol on the device!
Instructions for exchanging the flash lamp see paragraph 7.5. Execute working steps in reverse way.
Observe the following information:
Before changing the flash lamp let the device turned on and cool down for approx. 30 minutes.
10.4 Changing the filter disc

Instructions for exchanging the flash lamp see paragraph 7.5. Execute working steps in reverse way.
The filter disc can only be exchanged after removing the flash lamp. The upper and underside of the filter disc are identical so
that incorrect mounting is avoided. Cleanliness must be ensured.
10.5 Emergency unlock of drawer
If automatic unlocking process of drawer after cycle finish fails, pls. proceed as follows:
Remove drawer completely, swich mains of and on again.
If this electrical reset fails too, plsease unlock the drawer manually:
Switch device off at rear mains switch and unplug from mains.
Open lateral maintenance flap (see picture paragraph 7.5).
Use an 90° angled tool (e.g. small Allen-key) and push down locking magnet pin about 10mm with low force via the
emergency unlocking hole (see picture praragraph 7.5, no. 21).
Open drawer manually.
Close lateral maintenance flap and connect device to mains again.
Switch on device and run test cycle of 90s. Locking magnet must always open automatically at final end of cycle
(beep tone). If unlocking process fails several times, please set device out of operation, disconnect from mains and call
your service agent, see praragraph 15.
11 Disposal
Recyclable materials are used to manufacture the light polymerisation device HiLite
®
power 3D. These do not present any
particular or unusual dangers for disposal. Kulzer GmbH is naturally willing to go beyond its legal obligations and take back used
devices. The device is designed for a service life of approx. 10 years.
