–Applythewheelchairparkingbrakes.
–Activateantitipper(ifinstalled).
Thewheelchairtie-downpositionswheretherestraint
systemstrapsmustbeplacedaremarkedwithsnaphook
symbols(seefollowingguresandsection2.2Labelsand
SymbolsontheProduct,page10).
1.Usingthefrontandrearstrapsofthe4-pointrestraint
system,securethewheelchairtothevehiclemounted
rails.Refertotheusermanualsuppliedwith4-point
restraintsystem.
Frontsidetie-downpositionsforbeltstraps:
1.Attachthefrontstrapsabovethecastorsupportersas
showninthetwoguresabove(seelocationofthe
attachmentlabels).
2.Attachfrontstrapstotherailsystemreferringtobest
practicerecommendedinstructionsfromthesafetybelt
manufacturer.
3.Releasetheparkingbrakesandapplytensionfront
strapsbypullingthewheelchairbackwardsfromthe
rear .
4.Readjusttheparkingbrakes.
