Shift down and accelerate before
you start climbing; then maintain a
steady pace.

Lean as far forward as possible. For
steeper hills, come off your seat to
stand and lean forward.
2.
If you lose speed, quickly shift to a
lower gear. At the same time,
release the throttle (so your front
tires don't lift),OR
3.
If that doesn't work and you still

down, and try climbing again, OR
4.
If you have lost all forward motion,
follow the K-turn procedure.
