Getting Ready
Using Dock Mode
Even in Silent mode, connecting the product to the supplied
desktop holder causes it to temporarily exit Silent mode,
and allows ringtones, etc. to sound.
Requires connection to an outlet using a Common AC
Adapter (sold separately).
Setting Dock Mode

Home screen [Settings] [More]
[Sound and vibrations] [Dock Mode]

Turn [Use Dock Mode] "ON"
If "Use Dock Mode" is "ON" and the product is placed
in the supplied desktop holder while in Silent mode,
the product temporarily exits Silent mode, and a
message is displayed indicating it is entering Dock
mode.
Setting Ringtone for Dock Mode
Set whether Dock mode ringtone reads out a callers name.

[Dock Mode ringtone] [Readout]/
[Default setting]
A callers phone number is read out if they are not
registered in Contacts.
Depending on display and call settings, names may not
be read out.
Charging with a PC
How to charge the product connecting to USB port
that supports PC charging with the USB Type-C cable
(commercially available) is described here.

Connect the USB Type-C cable
(commercially available) to the USB
port of PC when the PC is completely
activated.

Insert the USB Type-C plug of the USB
Type-C cable (commercially available)
straight into the external connection
terminal
The USB Type-C plug is reversible and can be
inserted to the terminal which side is up.
Make sure that the charging light turns into red.
When charging is complete, the charging light turns
into green
.
