IMPORTANT Please make sure that the machine is stable, by placing
the paper feeders on a sturdy desk or base.
Base (CA-500)
If you are attaching paper feeder PF-500 or PF-510 to the printer and
installing it on the floor, you can use a base to maintain the machine's
stability.
For detailed information on installing the base, refer to the manual
supplied with the base.
IMPORTANT Be careful to not trip on the feet of the base.
Hard Disk
Insert the hard disk into the option interface slot. The hard disk is used to
store print data. This provides benefits such as the ability to print multiple
copies at high speed using the electronic sorting function. The hard disk
is also required if you want to use the Custom Box or Job Box functions.
