Connecting and Printing
6 The printer driver installation program starts up.
7 Install the printer driver as directed by the instructions in the
installation software.
This completes the printer driver installation. If a USB connection is
used, the printer is automatically recognized and connected.
(FS-1060DN/FS-1061DN only)
If an IP connection is used, the settings below are required.
8 Open System Preferences and click Print & Fax.
9 Click the plus symbol (+) to add the installed printer driver.
10Click the IP icon for an IP connection and then enter the IP address
and printer name.
11Select the installed printer driver and click Add.
12The selected printer is added. This completes the printer setup
procedure.
IMPORTANT In the Authentication screen, enter the name and
password used to log in to the operating system.
