Connecting and Printing
Status Monitor Icon
When the KYOCERA Client Tool is installed, you can check the printer status in the Status Monitor icon.
The Status Monitor icon displays printer status messages in the lower right corner of the screen.
Screen Overview
The screen overview of the Status Monitor icon is as follows.
When the Status Monitor icon is active, you can select KYOCERA Client
Tool options by right-clicking the icon in the system tray.
4 The Maintenance tab lets you open KYOCERA Net Viewer*,
order replacement toner, view the KYOCERA Document
Solutions web site, and download printer drivers.
Click Maintenance Menu to display the Maintenance Menu
screen. This lets you perform printer maintenance. Refer to
Maintenance Menu on page 4-6.
5 This shows a 3D image of the selected printer and its current
status. Click (Refresh) to refresh the printer status.

The Supplies tab shows the toner status.
• Device Overview Tab
The Device Overview tab shows the printer settings.
7 Clicking Close hides the KYOCERA Client Tool.

If an information notification event occurs, a pop-up window
appears.
Information notification events can be set in the Configuration.

2 Status Monitor icon
The Status Monitor icon is displayed in the taskbar notification
area when the KYOCERA Client Tool is running.

2 Opens the KYOCERA Document Solutions website.
3 Closes the KYOCERA Client Tool.
