Terrain Alert
Two types of terrain alerts are shown on the synthetic vision display:
caution alerts and warning alerts.
The caution alert is shown when a hazard is detected within 60 seconds
of the aircraft current ight path (see below). The object causing the
alert will be highlighted in yellow on the synthetic vision display. See
Figure 3-18.
The warning alert is shown when a hazard is detected within 30
seconds of the aircraft current ight path (see below). The object
causing the alert will be highlighted in red on the synthetic vision
display. See Figure 3-19.
