3. Apply a drop of blood to the tip of the yellow window of the test strip, as
shown in the images below. Capillary action will pull the blood into the
strip.
Important: Continue applying blood to the test strip until the window
turns red, which indicates that enough blood has been collected to
take a reading. Do not put blood on top of the test strip.
