Park assist
If the vehicle is equipped with the parking assistance system or Intelligent Park Assist, the driver can make use of these systems to find suitable free
parking spaces.
Finding a Parking Space
Start the search by pressing the
button on the lower control panel of the multimedia
system, or else press the button
on the upper control panel once the parking assistance
system is activated.
Drive past a row of parked vehicles at low speed, maintaining a distance of around 1m. To
search on the other side of the road, activate the corresponding turn indicator, or else press
the corresponding side next to the vehicle on the upper control panel.
When the system finds a free space suitable for the vehicles length and width, it will display
it and automatically propose a parking method

. If different parking modes are available

, you can manually choose your preferred option.
As soon as the vehicle has reached the correct position, a P will be displayed over the
identified parking space

on the upper control panel, while the icon on the vehicle

shows the required direction of travel and the braking point, depending on the situation.

Parking Assistance System
After identifying a parking space, stop the vehicle for a
few seconds and engage reverse gear; take your hands
off the steering wheel and check the manoeuvring area:
if conditions allow, press the accelerator.
Follow the instructions on the upper control panel,
paying attention to the audible warnings, until the
parking manoeuvre is complete.
The icon on the vehicle

shows the required direction
of travel and the braking point, depending on the
situation.
If the vehicle has been parallel parked, it is possible to
exit the parking space using the parking assist system.
Intelligent Park Assist
After identifying a parking space, stop the vehicle and keep your foot on the brake pedal;
when completely safe to do so, press and hold the
button on the centre console keypad
and release the brake. If it is necessary to interrupt the manoeuvre, let go of the button.
If the vehicle has been parallel parked, it is possible to exit the parking space using the
Intelligent Park Assist.
