Fuel Filler Hatch Opening
The fuel filler hatch is locked and unlocked automatically when the central locking system on the vehicle is
activated.
Emergency Opening
The fuel filler hatch can be opened manually if the central locking system fails.
The emergency opening device is located behind the right light-fixture cover in the
luggage compartment.
• Slide your finger through the lower section of the grille.
• Unhook the cable

from its support and pull carefully. No noise will be heard: pull the
cable only until you feel a resistance, otherwise there is a risk of damaging the device.
• To open the fuel hatch, press the left edge as normal.
• Close the hatch, pressing it until it clicks.
Important!
Once the emergency release device has been operated, you will need to
contact a repair centre to reset it.
• Press on the rear edge of the hatch

• Unscrew the fuel cap

by turning it anticlockwise.
• Place the cap in the holder

on the open hatch.
• Fill the tank.
• Screw the cap back on (turn clockwise).
• Close the hatch, pressing it until it clicks.
