5.2 Every 25 Operating Hours
 Complete the 8 Hour Maintenance Checklist.
 Lubricate the PTO quick-disconnect pin or twist sleeve. Motorcycle oil or WD-40 is
recommended for this area.
5.3 Every 50 Operating Hours
 Complete the 8 & 25 Hour Maintenance Checklists.
 Grease all blade spindle bearing housings. Fill until grease purges from the weep
hole in the side of the bearing housing.
 Inspect all bushings for wear.
 Inspect all wheel bearings for wear, damage, debris, and proper installation.
 Check and clean if necessary any debris that may have accumulated during
operation.
5.4 Every 500 Operating Hours
 Change the gearbox oil (66 oz. SAE 80W-90 Grade gear oil).
 Inspect all blade spindle bearings for wear or damage. Replace if needed.
 Re-Pack all wheel bearings. Replace if needed.
 Inspect all component parts and wear points. Repair or replace any worn, damaged,
or missing parts.
 Complete the 8, 25, & 50 Hour Maintenance Checklists.
5.5 Annual
 For your convenience, Lastec has made available a Model 621 Articulator Rebuild
Kit (part #040209) which you may elect to install on the Articulator as an annual
maintenance program. This kit is optional - contact your Lastec dealer for more
information about the 040209 Kit.
 If installing the 040209 Model 621 Articulator Rebuild Kit, complete the 8, 25, 50, &
500 Hour Maintenance Checklists as a follow-up.
