Set the output of the LeCroy LW420 or equivalent audio frequency signal
generator to
1 kHz.

Connect the output of the generator to Channel 1 through a 50 Ohm coaxial
cable and adjust the sine wave output amplitude to get
8 divisions peak to
peak .

Use the "cursor position" knob, to move the
Time marker
