Try Me
The Try Me [Try Me] feature (see page 17) includes
several programs already prepared for experimenting
with the NXT and an Ultrasonic Sensor. Using the
programs available you can experiment with the
following features.
One Ultrasonic Sensor and the face on the display:
Using the Ultrasonic Sensor to measure distance from
an object, you can make the display face become
smaller or larger based on the distance from that
object.
One Ultrasonic Sensor and sounds:
The pitch of sound increases as the distance to an
object decreases.
One Sound Sensor and one Motor:
The Motor speed increases as the distance from an
object decreases.
Program
You can also use the Program feature to create
programs right on the NXT without using a computer.
See the Program section on page 15 to create a
program using the Ultrasonic Sensor to control a Motor.
