Handling Transceiver Modules
Theswitchsupportsthe10Gb,8Gb,and4GbSFP+module,the1GbESFP
module,andtheQSFP+module.
Beforeyouinstalltransceivermodules,readthefollowinginformation.
 Thehousingofthetransceivermoduleshasanintegralguidekeythatis
designedtopreventyoufrominserting themoduleincorrectly.
 Useminimalpressurewhenyouinsertthemoduleintotheswitchport.Forcing
themoduleinto theportcancausedamagetothemoduleorport.
 Youcaninsertorremovethemodulewhilethe Lenovo FlexSystemchassisis
turnedon.
 Youmustfirstinsertthemoduleintotheswitchportbeforeyoucanconnectthe
cables.
 Youmustremovethecablefromthetransceivermodulebeforeyouremovethe
modulefromtheswitchport.
