4.2ConfigurationoftheThinkSystemRemoteManagementModule

When first installed, the Remote Management Module by default will search DHCP server on the network to automatically assign IP address, subnet
mask and gateway. It is recommended that users manually set a fixed IP address in the BIOS.
To set an IP address, do the following:
1. Press F1 as soon as you see the logo screen.
2. From the BIOS setup menu, select Server Management

BMC Network Configuration
➙
Configuration Address Source.
3. From the Configuration option, you can choose STATIC or DHCP to set IP address source and Subnet mask, etc,.
4. When you finish the configuration, F10 to save the settings.
