Parameter set transfer between devices with different firmware versions
ƒ For devices with firmware versions 2.0 ... 6.3, the motor magnetising current is
calculated internally within the controller. You cannot adapt it to your application.
ƒ For devices with firmware versions 7.0 ... 7.2, you can adapt the motor magnetising
current to your application using the new code C0095.
Therefore the motor magnetising current in C0095 is not updated if a parameter set
transfer of devices with firmware versions 2.0 ... 6.3 to devices with firmware versions
7.0 ... 7.2 is carried out.

1. Change to the code level and select C0002 in the ”Code list”
menu.
Open the ”Code list” menu in the parameter menu.
2. Change to the parameter level of C0002. Click on C 0002 and select ”Load PS1” from the dialog box.
3. SelectC0002=1(LoadPS1)andconfirmtheselectionby

Confirm by ”Ok”.
4. Change to the parameter level of C0006. The active
operating mode is displayed.
Click on C0006. In the dialog box the active operating mode
is highlighted.
5. Confirm the setting by + .
The correct motor magnetising current is calculated
automatically and is entered in C0095.

If you press F7, the current value in C0095 is displayed.
6. Change to the parameter level of C0003. Click on C 0003 and select ”Save PS1” from the dialog box.
