Why is the current consumption of my Lenze DC Drives motor too high?
T
thomasdanielAug 2, 2025
If your Lenze DC Drives motor's current consumption is too high, the setting of C0016 might be too high, so correct the setting. Alternatively, the setting of C0015 might be too low, so correct that setting. It is also possible that C0084, C0087, C0088, C0089, C0090, C0091, and/or C0092 are not adapted to the motor data, in which case you should perform manual adaptation or identification of motor parameters (C0148).

How to fix a Lenze 8200 vector motor that does not rotate smoothly?
J
Joshua JacksonAug 9, 2025
If your Lenze DC Drives motor does not rotate smoothly, check the motor cable for defects. Ensure that the maximum current (C0022, C0023) is appropriately adapted to the application. Verify that the motor is neither underexcited nor overexcited by checking the parameter settings (C0015, C0016, C0014). Also, ensure that C0084, C0087, C0088, C0089, C0090, C0091 and/or C0092 are adapted to the motor data through manual adaptation or identification of motor parameters (C0148).

What causes DC-bus undervoltage in Lenze 8200 vector DC Drives?
S
stephen22Aug 14, 2025
If you are experiencing DC-bus undervoltage with your Lenze DC Drives, check the mains voltage to ensure it is sufficient. Also, inspect the supply module. If you have a 400 V controller connected to a 240 V mains, connect the controller to the appropriate mains voltage.

What to do if Lenze 8200 vector motor rotates when setpoints are “0”?
J
Jacqueline WashingtonAug 20, 2025
If your Lenze DC Drives motor rotates even when the setpoints are “0”, it is possible that a setpoint has been selected using the keypad function. To resolve this, set the setpoint to “0” by configuring C0140 = 0.
