CARE & MAINTENANCE (CONT.)
The True HEPA / Activated Carbon Filter
should be replaced every 12–15 months.
You may need to replace your filter earlier
or later depending on how often you use
your air purifier. Using your air purifier in an
environment with relatively high pollution may
mean you will need to replace the filter more
often, even if is o.
You may need to replace your filter if you
notice:
The air purifier does not eectively filter
certain odors anymore
Increased noise when the air purifier is on
Decreased airflow from the top of the air
purifier
Unusual odors
The HEPA filter is visibly dusty or
discolored after removing the pre-filter
When Should I Replace the
Filter?
Note:
To maintain the performance of
your air purifier, only use ocial
Levoit filters. For more information,
contact Customer Support (see
page 25).
Remember to reset the
indicator light after changing the filter
(see page 17).
The AirSight Plus 2.0 Laser Dust Sensor

may mean you will need to clean the sensor
more often.

2. Place the end of a vacuum cleaner over
the sensor openings. [Figure 3.6]
3. Turn the vacuum on for at least 10
seconds to clean out dust.
