Troubleshooting
Item Symptom* Solution

I cannot make a
phone connection, or
it is difficult to make a
connection (for an
outgoing call, or an
incoming call).
• Check the signal
strength:
If the signal is weak,
move to a location
where the signal level is
high (see p. 23).
A different number
from the one in the
Phone Book is dialed.
• Check the phone data:
If you modified the
phone data after trans-
ferring the data, you will
need to transfer the
modified data again (see
p. 26–29).
Sometimes, the In-
coming Call screen
does not appear on
the console display
when I receive a call.
• If you receive a call
while the screen is not in
Telephone mode, ”In-
coming call” will not ap-
pear (see p. 25).
There is no ring tone.
• Check the volume (see
p. 25).
• Check to see if the ring
tone has been muted
(see the phone instruc-
tion manual).
*(If the hands free vol-
ume is set correctly,
then check the master
volume setting.)
