The telephone screen
does not appear.
• Check the position of
ignition key. When it is
set to OFF, no screen
will appear. Set the igni-
tion key to ACC or ON
(see p.8–10).
• Make sure the phone is
properly set in cradle
(see p. 12).
• Make sure Lexus Link
is not being used: When
Lexus Link is in use, this
system cannot be used
(see p. 60).
The touch switches
on the display do not
work.
• Do not use a fine
tipped object (ball–point
pen, etc.).
• Do not simultaneously
touch multiple switches.
• If the display is ex-
posed to direct sunlight,
the touch switches may
not function.
• If touch keys are
grayed out to prevent
them from being used
when vehicle is in mo-
tion, they will not re-
spond. (Depending on
the function, this restric-
tion may be activated
while the function is be-
ing used.) (see p. 22)
When the vehicle
moves off, the screen
display changes, pre-
venting me from us-
ing the system.
• Some functions may
cause the screen display
status to vary when ve-
hicle moves off. (In this
case, the original display
status will be restored
when vehicle stops.)
