      If nothing is displayed on your LG Monitor screen, first, ensure the power cord is correctly plugged into the power outlet. Then, check the power cable connection and press the power button. Also, verify that the connected input is enabled via Menu > Quick Settings > Input. If the monitor is in sleep mode, move the mouse or press any key. Ensure your computer is turned on. If the signals from your PC are out of the monitor's frequency range, see the Product Specification section of this manual to set the appropriate frequency. Finally, check and reconnect the cable.

      If you see an "Unrecognized monitor, Plug and Play (VESA DDC) monitor found" message on your LG Monitor, install the display driver from the CD (or diskette) that came with your display. You can also download the driver from the LG website: http://www.lg.com. Also, make sure your graphics card supports Plug and Play function.

      If there is no sound from the headphone port on your LG Monitor, first, make sure the headphone port connections are properly made. If the connections are correct, try increasing the volume using the joystick. Finally, set the audio output of the PC to the monitor you are using by going to Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Sound and setting the Monitor as the default device on Microsoft Windows.

      If the display color on your LG Monitor is abnormal, first set the color to 24 bit (true color) or higher by navigating to Control Panel > Display > Settings > Color Quality in Windows. If that doesn't work, check if the signal cable is properly connected, and reconnect it or reinsert the PC's Graphics card. Note that some color variations are normal for an LCD screen and do not indicate an error or affect the monitor's performance.
