      If nothing is displayed on your LG Monitor screen, start by checking if the power cord is correctly plugged into the power outlet. Ensure the power cable is connected securely and press the power button. Verify that the connected input source is enabled by navigating to Menu > Quick Settings > Input. If the monitor is in sleep mode, try moving the mouse or pressing any key on the keyboard. Also, confirm that your computer is turned on. Check the cable and reconnect it. If the signals transferred from the PC (Graphics card) are out of the horizontal or vertical frequency range of the monitor, please see the Product Specification section of this manual to set the appropriate frequency.

      If there's no sound from the headphone port on your LG Monitor, ensure that the headphone port connections are properly made. Try increasing the volume using the joystick. Also, set the audio output of the PC to the monitor you are using. On Microsoft Windows, go to Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Sound > set the Monitor as default device.

      If the display color is abnormal on your LG Monitor, first set the color to 24 bit (true color) or higher by navigating to Control Panel > Display > Settings > Color Quality in Windows. Also, check if the signal cable is properly connected; try reconnecting the cable or reinserting the PC's Graphics card. Note that sometimes, this is not an error, nor is it related to the monitor's performance.

      If your LG Monitor's screen display is unstable and shaky, and/or images displayed on the monitor leave shadow trails, it might be due to the selected resolution. If the resolution is HDMI 1080i 60/50 Hz (interlaced), the screen may be flickering. Change the resolution to 1080p or the recommended resolution.

      If you see an "Unrecognized monitor, Plug and Play (VESA DDC) monitor found" message, be sure to install the display driver from the display driver CD (or diskette) that comes with your display. Also, make sure to check if the video card supports Plug and Play function.
