What to do if nothing is displayed on my LG 38WQ88C screen?

  If your LG Monitor screen is blank, first ensure the power cord is securely plugged into the power outlet and that the power cable is properly connected. Press the power button. Then, verify that the correct input is selected in the monitor's settings under the Input menu. Also, check the signal cable between your PC and the monitor, ensuring it's properly connected. If using HDMI, try setting HDMI Compatibility Mode to off in the monitor's General settings. For DisplayPort, match the DisplayPort Version in the monitor's General settings to that of your connected device. Finally, ensure the signals from your PC (graphics card) are within the monitor's supported horizontal or vertical frequency range, as detailed in the Product Specification section of this manual.

Why is my LG 38WQ88C Monitor screen display unstable and shaky?

  An unstable or shaky display on your LG Monitor, or shadow trails on images, can occur if the resolution is set to HDMI 1080i 60/50 Hz (interlaced). Try changing the resolution to 1080p or the recommended resolution. Also, ensure your graphics card is set to the recommended (optimal) resolution for the monitor. Incorrect resolution settings can lead to blurred text, a dimmed screen, a truncated display area, or misalignment. If issues persist, consult your computer or graphics card manufacturer for assistance.

  If some features on your LG Monitor are disabled, first check if the OSD (On-Screen Display) is locked and disable OSD Lock in the General settings. Ensure that the display driver is installed from the provided CD or download it from the LG website. Also, verify that the headphone port connections are correctly made. Try increasing the volume using the joystick. Lastly, set the audio output of your PC to the monitor you are using. Note that these settings may vary depending on your operating system.
