System Select You must select the appropriate
system mode for your TV system.
Remove any disc that might
be in the unit, press and hold
PAUSE/STEP (M) for more than

a system (PAL, NTSC, AUTO).
Screen Saver Leave the unit in Stop mode for
about ve minutes, then the
screen saver appears.
If the Screen Saver is displayed
for ve minutes, the unit auto-
matically turns itself o.

Memory
Turn o the unit, then the unit
memorize the lastly viewed
scene even if disc is inserted
again after removal or unit is
turned on after o with same

Change the
subtitle code
page
(Video le
only)
Press and hold SUBTITLE for 3
seconds during playback. The
language code will appear.
Press a/d to select another
language code until the subtitle
is displayed properly and then
press ENTER (b)
