What to do if my LG F09MT Air Conditioner does not work?
    • A
      alexandraromeroAug 12, 2025
First, check if the power cord of your LG Air Conditioner is properly plugged into the outlet and that the power isolators are switched on. If the air conditioner still doesn't work, inspect the fuse to see if it has exploded, or check if the circuit breaker has tripped and replace the fuse if needed. If a power failure has occurred, turn off the air conditioner and wait 3 minutes after the power is restored before turning it back on. Also, check the batteries in the remote controller to ensure they are correctly inserted or replace them. Finally, make sure that the air conditioner was not turned off automatically at a preset time and turn the air conditioner on.

Why is my LG Air Conditioner not emitting cool air?
    • R
      Robert BlairAug 16, 2025
If your LG Air Conditioner is not emitting cool air, ensure that curtains, blinds, or furniture are not blocking the front of the unit. Clean the air filter every 2 weeks. If the room temperature is too high, select Jet Mode for faster cooling. Make sure no cold air is escaping through ventilation points. Set the desired temperature lower than the current room temperature and avoid using heat generators nearby. Ensure the unit is not in Fan Mode; switch to cooling operation. Note that the cooling effect may not be sufficient if the outside temperature is too high.

If your LG Air Conditioner stops during operation, check the timer settings to ensure it wasn't set to turn off. If a power failure occurred, wait for the power to return. If the Auto Restart function is enabled, the unit will resume its last operation several minutes after power is restored.

If your LG Air Conditioner is not emitting warm air, and the outdoor unit is operating, wait until the unit has generated enough warm air to blow through the indoor unit. If the outdoor unit is in Defrosting Mode, allow approximately 15 minutes for the frost to be removed from the coil. Note that the heating effect may not be sufficient if the outside temperature is too low.
