If your LG DVD Drive is having trouble reading or writing discs, consider the following: * Verify the overall condition of your system, including the CPU and hard drive. * Check the disc for dirt or scratches. * Ensure no other applications are running while writing to the disc. * Confirm there is enough free space on the disc. * Try a simulation test to see if writing fails there as well. * Make sure the disc is loaded correctly (label up). * Verify the drive is installed in the correct orientation. * If the drive or disc was moved from a cold to a warm environment, condensation may be present.
