If your LG DVD Drive is having trouble reading or writing discs, consider these points: Ensure that your CPU, hard disk, and other system components are functioning correctly. Check the CD or DVD for dirt or scratches. Avoid running screen savers or other applications while writing to the disc. Make sure there is enough free space on the CD, DVD, or DVD-RAM disc. Determine if writing fails even during a simulation test. Verify that the disc is loaded correctly with the label facing up, and that the drive is installed in the correct orientation. Also, if the drive or disc has been moved from a cold to a warm environment, condensation might have formed on the lens or disc surface.
