CUSTOMIZING SETTINGS
Setting Description
Country (Only

Zealand)
Selects a desired country.
Hard of Hearing

This function is for the blind, and provides explanatory audio describing the current situation in a
TV programme in addition to the basic audio.
- It is only available to use Hard of Hearing on some TV stations in New Zealand.
Power Indicator
(Only LED LCD
TV)
Sets to turn on or off the indicator light on the TV.
If you select 3D mode, Power indicator is turned off automatically.
Option
Standby Light Set to turn on or off the indicator light in Standby mode.
Power Light Set to turn on or off the indicator light when you turn on the power.
ISM Methdo
(Only Plasma TV)
A frozen or still picture displayed on the screen for prolonged periods will result in a ghost image
remaining even when you change the image. Avoid allowing a fixed image to remain on the
screen for prolonged periods.
Option
Normal
Orbiter Orbiter may help prevent ghost images. However, it is best not to allow
any fixed image to remain
on the screen. To avoid a permanent image on the screen, the screen will
move every 2 minutes.
Colour Wash The colour block with the screen moved a little and the white pattern are
alternately displayed. It is difficult to sense the afterimage occurred while
the temporary afterimage is removed and the colour pattern is operating.
White Wash White wash removes permanent images from the screen.
Note: An excessive permanent image may be impossible to clear entirely
with White Wash.
Pointer
(Depending on
model)
Sets the pointer option of the Motion remote control.
Option
Speed Changes the pointer speed.
Shape Selects the pointer shape.
Size Changes the pointer size.
Alignment Align the remote control’s direction with the pointer on your TV screen by
shaking the remote control left and right. Then, the pointer automatically
moves to the center of the screen.
My Media Setting
(DivX/DLNA)
Sets the DivX and DLNA option.

DivX VOD Registra-
tion
Registers your TV to play DivX protected videos. (See p. 66)
DivX Deregistration Deactivates your TV. (See p. 66)
DMR Requires you to download and play DRM-certified files using the DivX
registration code.
y What is DRM (Digital Rights Management)?
y DRM refers to the technologies or processes that describe and
identify digital content protected by intellectual property rights
and which enforce usage rules set by copyright holders. You
can only play licensed files using online authentication and
other methods.
