52 Section 2B: Controlling Your Phone’s Settings
Alert Notification
Your phone can alert you with an audible tone when you
receive voicemail or other messages, change service areas,
once a minute during a voice call, or when a call has been
connected.
To enable or disable alert sounds:
1. Select Menu > Settings/Tools>Settings > Sounds > Alerts.
2. Select Beep Each Minute,Out of Service,Connect,
or Signal Fade/Call Drop and press .
3. Select On or Off and press .
Silence All
The phone’s Silence All option allows you to mute all sounds
without turning your phone off.
To activate Silence All:
Press the volume key down repeatedly in standby mode.
(The screen will display “Silence All”)
To deactivate Silence All:
Press the volume key up repeatedly to select a desired
volume level.
