Why is no water coming into my LG WM1388HW Washer?
    • S
      Sarah BooneAug 3, 2025
If your LG Washer isn't getting water, or the water pressure is low, first, ensure the faucets are turned on. If a faucet is frozen, thaw it with warm water. Also, make sure the water lines are not pinched or bent, and take extra care that they are not twisted or pinched by other objects. If the inlet filter is clogged, it should be cleaned. Finally, ensure you've connected the water line properly to the cold water inlet.

If your LG Washer is draining slowly or not at all, lower the drain hose within 3 feet below the end of the elbow bracket if it's installed over 3 1/4 feet (1 m) from it. Place the drain hose on a smooth surface to prevent bending. If the drain hoses are frozen, thaw them in warm water. Also, open the drain pump plug cap and remove any dirt.
