B. Loosen the focus plane stopping screw and locking screw
C. Set the magnification to 14X and move the entire PS head module back until
the focus is reached
D. Tighten up the stopping screw and ensure the locking screw is secured
Note: This procedure needs to be carried out by the qualified or trained
service engineer or technician.
3. Ensure the two slit lines are aligned together for the Integrated Delivery Unit Slit
lamp. If not align, realignment it (refer to Service Manual section 6.3 slit lamp
realignment procedures).
4. Check the four filter wheel settings are ok and display accordingly
5. Validate the five aperture settings are functioning accordingly
6. Validate the slit fully opening and closing position functionality
7. Validate there is no illumination when slit is fully closed
8. Set slit setting to narrow and rotate + 90
o
around vertical
9. Check the eyepiece firmly fit into the binocular and can be fully adjusted
10. Illumination tower and binocular arm can be swung side to side
