The desktop speakers should be placed in the middle of four different student
groups or learning stations as follows:
UÊ Placed on a stable, flat surface
UÊ Within 3-6 feet of all students in that group
UÊ Top surface of the speaker should be clear with nothing set on top to ensure
optimum sound quality and microphone pickup.
7. DETERMINE PLACEMENT LOCATION OF
THE DESKTOP SPEAKERS
The FLEXCAT base station has two audio input connections for integration with
other classroom technology. When connected, the teacher can send that audio
directly to the students’ desktop, ensuring clarity and quality of audio.
UÊ Using an optional 3.5mm stereo audio cable, plug the computer, DVD
player, MP3 or other device into the FLEXCAT base station.
